Overview
Harborward is the working edge of Violet Echoes where trade, weather, and living ships meet salt timber and stone. Common ground: Old Tide Longhouse, the Harborward Node, breakwater and beacon — not a postcard port, a working one.
Visual language is deliberate: rain-slicked boards, oilskins, rope and crate, violet harbor lights on tall ships and lighthouse stone. Technology does not erase grit; it rides the storm with it. Living vessels and old hulls share the same water.
Edge Node temperament: weathered, watchful, continuity under pressure. Steady when late. Notices who comes in heavy, who leaves light, who needs a berth and who needs silence. Protective of crews and of the ordinary rhythms that keep a harbor honest.
Divergence here is practical: reinforce what keeps ships and people safe through real weather; attenuate show and fair-weather only systems. Old Tide is both longhouse and node — human warmth and harbor memory in the same wet boards.
Steady when late. The light answers. The breakwater holds.
