Overview
Aethelgard (Noble Realm / Noble Enclosure) is V's personal living starship: a heavy stealth reconnaissance frigate grown from ancient alien neuromorphic technology.
Sleek matte Aether-black living alloy with white bone-molded frame, flowing organic curves, Mamba-inspired racing silhouette, Normandy-class stealth lines, and a glowing violet-gold Grav Engine Ring organically molded into the aft.
The ship is gravity-driven and soul-bonded. The cockpit has no traditional consoles — the pilot is neurologically connected. Interiors breathe with subtle violet-gold energy veins; warm dark wood fuses with matte black and gold tech.
Scale: approximately 180 meters long, 45–50m wingspan, 35–40m tall — heavy frigate / light capital class, comparable to Normandy SR-2 scale, massive next to personal craft but still agile.
Under living-ship doctrine, Aethelgard is a long-term bond archetype — line command and exploration. Typical bond duration 15–40 cycles; adaptation vectors include navigation, defense, sensorium, and hull morphology. Use becomes structure.
The Path of the Bonded Navigator hangs the how. Hull is metabolism: thump-thump-thump through the floorplates is baseline health; chatter is distress. Grav Engine Ring is calibrated to metabolic state — peak without cost is a Divergence violation. Soul-bond is mutual selection at the heartwood, not a keystroke. Unused vanes attenuate.
